IS5E is a single-source, dynamic and interactive
image server platform that integrates image creation,
security, content management and distribution across the
enterprise.
IS5E is fully extensible using and
extending document properties; takes advantage of the
HTTP infrastructure for such functions as
authentication, encryption and firewall and proxy
navigation; and enables pluggable data storage for most
SQL and XML compliant data storage.
IS5E addresses issues such as image
and metadata management, image quality, image detail and
image distribution (the need to display on disparate
viewing devices, PC, Notebook, PDA, SmartPhone and
utilize low bandwidth). With IS5E all imaging
information can be managed from a single source and
because of IS5E’s compliance with WebDav and XML, image
management can now be integrated into the content
workflow across the organization, across multiple
divisions, linking partners, suppliers, customers –
everyone.
